The special expansion is scheduled to release simultaneously worldwide on September 16, 2026. Pokémon has also confirmed that every 30th Celebration booster pack includes a Pikachu card, making the Mouse Pokémon one of the defining features of the set.

The dedicated 01/30–30/30 Pikachu Rare collection is not the end of Pikachu’s appearance in the expansion.
Pokémon’s official preview also shows additional Pikachu ex cards, including cards numbered 053/128 and 054/128, along with Special Illustration Rare versions numbered 149/128 and 150/128.
Pokémon specifically notes that the two Pikachu ex Special Illustration Rares emphasize the day and night aesthetic of 30th Celebration. So, for collectors building a broader Pikachu master set, the chase can extend beyond the thirty numbered Pikachu Rares.
