How to Play Rack-O
The objective is simple: be the first player to get the ten cards in your rack arranged in numerical order, from lowest to highest.
- Each player receives a plastic rack and is dealt ten cards, which they place in the rack in the order they were dealt.
- On your turn, you can either draw the top card from the deck or take the top card from the discard pile.
- You can then swap this new card with any card in your rack. The card you swap out is then placed on the discard pile.
The strategy lies in knowing which cards to keep and which to discard. Do you hold onto a high-numbered card hoping to draw an even higher one, or do you take a chance and discard it? The first player to get all ten of their cards in numerical order shouts "Rack-O!" and wins the round.
